my accident

soo... everything was going well until last thurs night when i went on a bike ride with my friend jenn. It was a beautiful evening, finally dropping into the 70s when we were at a 4 way stop intersection in Niwot. There was this big SUV behind us that decided to make a right hand turn. ... well they passed around us but made the turn too sharp and the side of their car hit the back wheel of my bike and I went down... several spokes of my wheel are broken and my seat was a little bent and I caught the fall on my arm. The car drove off but luckily some witnesses caught the license plate #. The police came and talked to witnesses, and got a statement from my friend and I. they tracked down the guy that hit me and wrote him a couple tickets. That night I went to the emergency room because my arm hurt a lot... more than my foot ever did. Got some Xrays that determined I have a radial head fracture (non-displaced) . The past few days Ive been sleeping a lot (not running) and in a haze of vicatin. Im finally feeling better today without the help of pain killers and have an appointment with the orthopedic doctor. Hopefully, all goes well and I can get this splint off my arm and wont have to get a cast... Anyway, watch out for cars.... hope all is well..
